YIPPIE!! I told you that I would let you know about my new business when I knew more and could tell you more. Well, I can do a bit of that now.

I just signed up with HelloWorld. It is an amazing organization that is putting out video stream technology that is going to revolutionize the world! Literally. I am so pumped about this. Mark my words on this day, you will see a major change in how business is done as well as day to day communications is done all because of this technology.

You know how people say... jeez, I wish I had bought into Micro-soft/Walmart/Yahoo when it first started??? Well, that is exactly where Hello World is right now. In a year even, people will be saying, "Damn, I wish I had gotten in sooner!".

As soon as I get all my stuff I will be able to send out video e-mails! Yep, video e-mails. How cool is that? The even cooler thing is that it doesn't take up space on your computer so it doesn't take a million years to down load. It also has video IM. This is different from the IM that is out now because you don't type, you just sit there and talk to the person and you can see them talking in real time. The quality is much better than the stop action stuff on regular web cams. (can you tell I'm excited??)

I just had this sent to me about organizations that use multi-level marketing. I e-mailed my upline to find out how many affiliates there are and there are LESS than 8,000 right now!!!!

That means that this is the "ONCE IN A LIFETIME" opportunity.

HARVARD BUSINESS SCHOOL - NETWORK MARKETING CRITERIA

Network Marketing is being taught at more than 200 colleges including Harvard Business School. After extensive research into the network marketing industry, Harvard Business School developed three criteria that a network marketing company must have in order to make it a most desirable opportunity. They are:

1. The company must be at least 18 months old, as 90% of all network marketing companies that fail, do so in the first 18 months.

2. The company must have a product which is both unique and highly consumable. Being unique in this case means that you have an exclusive product that can only be purchased from your company’s distributors. Having a product that is highly consumable means repeated sales, thereby guaranteeing customer loyalty versus a one time sale and having to locate new customers.

3. It needs to be a “ground floor” opportunity. Harvard Business School suggests that in order for the opportunity to qualify as a ground floor type, the number of existing distributorships should be less than ½ of 1% in the country where this network company exists. In the United States, this figure is equal to 1.5 million people. Harvard Business School also stated that if there were less than 500,000 people involved, you would be on the cutting edge of a great opportunity. If the company has less than 100,000 distributors, Harvard Business School considers it to be a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Harvard Business School states that there are four distinct stages of growth in a network marketing company. They are:

Foundation - This usually lasts approximately six months. This is when a company develops its products and marketing plan.

Concentration - This period lasts approximately 2 to 4 years from when the distributor network is started.

Momentum - This period lasts from 2 to 4 years also. This is when the company experiences phenomenal growth. Both retail and distributorships explode in terms of expanding growth. It is during this period that the company virtually sweeps the nation. When a company’s sales reach 50 million, they reach what is called “critical mass” (sales go vertical right off the graph). Also, approximately 2/3 of the company’s growth of the new distributorships occur during this period of time.

When Herbalife reached 50 million in sales, they jumped to 151 million in retail sales in only 12 months. They also added over 800,000 distributorships in their organization.

Let us assume you have an organization which is producing an override bonus check to you of $1000 per month. When the company reaches critical mass, distributors automatically experience a ten-fold increase in their earnings. In other words, $1000 per month becomes $10,000 per month. This is the reason for getting involved on the ground floor, so you will experience the benefits of explosive growth.

Stability - This period lasts for the life of the company. A network marketing company that is dedicated to the success of its distributors will experience longevity, thereby insuring that an active distributorship will realize continued earnings and growth.

Hey Cynthia! I've found my "Fortune". Can you tell I'm excited??? One thing I love about this is that it lets me put my public speaking into play again as well as all the wonderful visualizations that I used to do before competitions.

Also, I didn't think of it until this morning, but one reason I was hesitant to work at home is that I know myself well enough to know that I need a reason to get out of bed, shower, and put my make up on. I hope that doesn't sound too bad, but I'm a pretty laid back Pisces when I don't have a direction to swim in. If I don't, I wallow in bed and get depressed. I've thought of home based businesses before, but that is one thing that held me back.

Well, with this, I would HAVE to get up and put on my make up because it is all video!!! LOL...
So, I am thinking that I would just have a routine of going to the gym at 6-6:30, come home and walk on the tread climber, shower and put on make up, and then be ready to "dance with Tigger". )

That's a pretty great schedule that you'll be able to have. Working out in the morning is awesome!!! You'll have so much more energy later in the day and it's easier to do things in the evening without feeling guilty about not exercising...since you already got it out of the way. LOL.
