Well the housing benefit got sorted..I can breathe. They reassessed the debt and knocked £550 pounds off (there's your'e magic number 5 again Cynthia). So thats down to 5,000 now (still yet to here from the Council tax re their half a pund of flesh )

The new amount of benefit got re-figured to just a bit higher than i had budgeted for , which was cool, and then they decided to take of just a bit less to pay off the debt (at this rate it's gonna take 10 years pr so!!). So in effect i still have a little more than budgeted for and have the debt repayments sorted.

I'm getting well into this manifesting.. thank you all for sharing your celebrations, it really encourages.


P.S, do you think a focused manifesting on the debt could vanish it all together?

Hey KQ... I would suggest focusing on abundance and not the debt. By focusing on the debt you are focusing on a "don't want" or focusing on the negative. Even giving thought to that is adding energy in that direction. Turn your back on the vibrations of the debt and turn towards abundance. FEEL the feelings associated with being finacially stable and with no money worries. When you reach that... the debt will be gone.

Thanks Kim, I was concerend that if i focused on ridding myself of debt, then that was too much focusing on the negative. It's dead hard sometimes though, to turn a bad thing around into a good thing. I'm glad i bought that book. ;D

I am so glad that things have turned around, i felt so sick and ill, couldnt eat or sleap and kept shaking. It was really hard to stay positive and keep on manifesting. Right now it feels great to be alive. Thanks for creating this space for us to share.

Well... Council Tax dept say i earn 3 pound a month too much to get benefit so have to pay full wack (about 120 a month) and that i owe them 1,440 odd back payment.

Manifesting regulalry and my grandad just gave me a thousand (after selling his house) so that takes back-debt down to 440 odd. Never been given money like that before so that's cool (shame it has to all go to the government!)

Yuck... but also good you got the money. It would have been much better to get to keep it of course, but at least you got that much. Right?

Well it would have been good to spend it other things but in the long term this is the right thing, yes.

More good news, though a little frustrating. I took myself, cheque in hand, down to their offices to pay off bulk of the debt yesterday and the man behind the counter pointed out that i hadn't been assessed as a single person occupier. This means that as the only adult (lone earner) i was entitled to a 25% discount off the bill.

Can you believe it? I have been banging my head on a brick wall about this since March! I told them I was single! Anyway, good news. That's quite a reduction.
