As most of you know, I am building a new website for a business my kids and I are doing. I have been working with one web guy and have been frustrated with how slow to get back to me they are. So, I've asked the universe for a new person that is closer to my home, but not in my town for privacy reasons.
Today I stopped at a local gas station and the clerk admired the necklace I had on. I explained that I made it and that my kids and I are building a website to sell them. She asked who I was working with and I told her I was looking for a new person. Well, she just happened to know of someone that she thought was pretty good and gave me his number. So, I'm going to give him a call today!

Yep, I have a good feeling about this person. I haven't talked to him yet, but it has a good feel to it. She said that he could just come to my house even and set it up, which would be nice.

Well, I just called his office and he is out on service calls, but I did get some sample websites to look at and I like his work. The sites he did inculde Macromedia Flash design and that is what I want.

I did just talk to him and the conversation felt good. I sent him a link to the template I want to use and we are going to figure out a time to get together.

Me too. I am pretty excited. I told him that what I am looking for is someone that can get me set up and going and teach me how to add pages later so I can do it myself. He totally understood and thought it was a good idea and made sense.

I just got an e-mail from the new web guy. I may have been wrong. He wasn't using Flash programs, he was using something else. He said that he doesn't know if he can modify the template that I want. I'm really, really bummed about this.

hmmm ... now wayyy back when ... I used Frontpage 99 version ... and I am almost positive the program had 'flash' ... but then that was 6 yrs ago ... Im sure they have updated the program by now ... but I wouldn't think they took it off ... but tech-stuff not my area ... so I could be totally wrong ...
Check the box ... what does it say it can do?
