i have to say, everyone i know in the states has their 6-month dental check up and have so many dental problems! In europe, people hardly ever go to the dentist (and never for a checkup) because it isnt covered by health insurance, and I rarely hear of people with problems. This is why too you see very very few european teens with braces

I think they make kids get braces half the time just for the money (same with glasses)
