Verizon is PISSING ME OFF!!! For two years we've been having a problem with no phone service everytime it rains. They never send someone out until its dry, and they tell me they can't find a problem. I have even filed two complaints with the Utilities Commission. The first time I filed a complaint the problem was fixed within a day......then it came back again in a few months.
About a week and a half ago, we got the tail end of a hurricane. No phone service for 6 days. On day 7 they send someone out. The guy says he switched our lines, but that he could still hear a noise from the outside line and someone would be back to string a new line from the road to the house (my house is 650 feet off the road). So, another guy comes out and says, he doesn't see a problem, he's not running a new line and we are getting fiber optics soon anyway. That was two days ago.
Well.......today it rained and i have NO FREAKING PHONE!!! Called Verizon and raised hell and filed another complaint with the Utilities Commission. You know, I pay my freaking bill every month....the least I could get is a phone that works!!!!
