Is this normal? As any rational human beig, I decided to do some research on this www.guardian.co.uk/weekend/story/0,3605,1079016,00.html. The article was insightful and makes suggestions about why men use this medium that i have often thought true. To be honest, I don't really buy the whole "I just like to look at them" mentallity of some men regarding this issue. I feel cheated, demeaned and yes objectified just by the mere issue of him looking at pornography. I post this here because I am not trying to raise anyone's hair. I am truly concerned and can see how this topic might offend some. I apologize in advance. -Sus |

Honestly, I like porn. I know, I'm odd, but hey. For me, it's a completely mental thing, and also yes, I have just a bit voyeur in me. I don't watch it often, but I do like it occasionally. Personally, I always felt that I could care less what my S.O. watched, as long as he came home to me. I guess it's a matter of different strokes for different folks (no pun intended!).
I'm sorry you are not comfortable with this. Does he know how you feel??

Some porn is good and can add excitement to a relationship. Just like anything else it is about balance. Some people use porn as a way to avoid true intimacy and connections.

Right, in theory I agree with all of this...now, in reality, when the porn hits you in the face it's something different. I did talk to my boyfriend. He apologized...which is not exactly what I wanted...I'm not sure what I wanted. It was shocking and sad to find this.

I remember one night my sister in law called me and she needed help with her computer and stumbled into the internet temp folder and my brother had been smut surfin'. she was beside herself. I told her that yeah it makes you feel ugly that he needs to find some sort of outside stimulus but he is not carrying on a relationship with these women. My ex fiancee was doing online dating while engaged to me. these women were postin pics a plenty. I got suspicious one day and hacked his computer and saw what was going on. He got really mad at me, not for calling him to the mat but because I COULD hack his computer.

hahaha that's so lame about the boyfriend andie. Yes, it's weird, and I guess you have a point. He is not with these women...I like these perspectives ladies.
