Last night I had a doozy of a dream. I don't understand it or why it came to me. I saw a group of people in a circle chanting to the beat of a single drum. I don't remember the words but the idea was that they chanting a dying person's soul into transition but adding if it's not his time, I call him back or something like that. This is the first time I ever remember having a dream with a musical drum beat to it. I could see the faces of the people in the circle. One woman's face was distorted in grief; another woman was standing solidly and I think she was chanting for her husband. I remember her specifically chanting very clearly about calling him back. I then saw three frail-looking elderly women who seemed to have been chanting for themselves. For some reason, I thought this was a ceremony based on a Native American ritual. For me, this is one really strange dream. Anyone have any ideas of whether it is significant?

Gem.. it sounds like a drumming circle that is practiced by Shaman. Interesting that you had this dream. I am searching for a teacher right now as I look into becoming a Shaman.
Also, helping others to cross or guiding their souls back is one of the things Shaman do.
It sounds like you have a lot of things coming out for you right now. Very cool.

Transitions team members are here on Earth at this time to assist energetically with those who are passing over. Be aware of the energy passing through your reality each day, and if you are going to make yourself available to it be sure to remain centered with your divine pilar of light. A shaman is not taught, but reminded. Balance

Balance, Thank you for your response but I'm so dense that I'm not sure I understand. What is a transition team? Is there anyplace I can read up on it? Also, Welcome to Karmic Lessons. I love your name, too.

Gem have you read any of Steve Rother's books? I suggest all of his books however you may wish to begin Re-Member or Welcome Home.

No, I'm not familiar with those books. I just checked the Seattle Public Library and they don't have it. I'll check out one other library and if they don't have them, I'll tell Santa that I'd like them for Christmas.
In the meantime, I would appreciate it if you could share what you believe is significant in those books.

OK, I again forgot about this dream Gem. Earlier this week I had a 'vision' of myself and another lining up a group of twisted corpses (they were very insubstantial, so maybe souls?) . We put them on a hillside and the other person with me was pouring liquid around the perimeter of all the souls. I went to adjust something and was warned not to disturb the 'dew' between the souls. If you looked you could see dew sparkling in the grass!
Hmmmm.....
