I don't remember the entire dream but I locked the front door of my house (it was actually the door of my current house but it was on the house I grew up in) because I was tired and wanted to go to bed. I turned to go upstairs to bed (again my childhood house) and my current cat just put his paw on the door and opened it. I went back to shut and lock it again. After that I gently touched the door and it opened up again. I felt unsafe about going to bed to sleep with the front door open. I didn't know what to do. I started thinking about getting a nail and hammering a nail from the door jamb through the door. Then I hated the idea of ruining the door. I started thinking about who to call for help. It was night. I don't remember anything else. Ideas? Trying to keep something out of my conscious mind but it won't be shut out? But what would that be? I do think this dream is very symbolic but really can't figure it out. Maybe one of you folks can help me figure it out.

Cats and Doors are getting to be quite a dream theme around here! I drew for you The Sun...an opportunity coming (that you may miss if you "close the door and lock it out.") Behind that was Justice and the Hermit...again, opportunity and Good Council respectively. Who are the two kings? One is Love and One is Money (money has the most amazing blue eyes). Cats are often messengers for The Other Places. If you have the dream again, perhaps ask the cat why he wants the door open. He may answer...(unless you gave him something yucky for supper. ) and a little side note that has nothing to do with your dream--I see you getting flowers within the next four days.

Arcadia, Thank you for the reading. I was just expecting some clues about this dream could mean and instead I get a full blown reading. Wow! Your reading sounds so wonderful that I want to throw away the key to my front door, just to make sure it doesn't lock. I will definitely keep my eyes open for opportunity. The cat in my dream was Oliver, one of my two cats. He either understands a lot of words or else he reads my mind. The funny thing about the dream was that after he opened the door, he did not try to go through it. He sat there and looked up at me. If he appears in another dream, I'll be sure to talk to him and ask him what he wants to tell me. A gift of flowers -- that'll be nice. It'll also be unexpected. I will let you konw if I get them. I'll also be sure to let you know of opportunities that come up. Have a great weekend. BTW, I exalted you for your generosity.
