Travel dreams

Often in my dreams, I am traveling, like getting a plane ticket (last night I dreamed I had purchased a ticket someplace), or else I am in different city or country. The details of these dreams are different but travel is the common denominator in them.
Does anyone have a clue why I frequently dream of travel? Is it unusual?

hmmm... well, I do dream of travel at times, so I don't think it is totally uncommon. My feel from the dreams is that you are being reminded that you are expanding your horizons and your comfort zone. You are growing. These are planned types of things at times, unplanned at others. I would be comforted by those dreams. They feel good to me.
