I am thankful for:

friends
long hikes on flat easy trails for stress reduction
redwood trees to hug
roast chicken
nice waiters
flirty cute restaurant managers
fresh carrot juice and the nice odd ball guy who hangs out infront of the healthfood store who is nice to me even if I am not attracted to him except for a friend
good drinking water labeled the most powerful joy in the world
my Balinese turq hand beaded purse ~ you never can have too many accessories
wood floors and my sunken bath tub
radiant health
the luxury of time to play and relax
computers
the option of two fantastic films to see this week ~ options are aways a "good thing"

Today, I am grateful that on other days I feel better.

But, after reading Troutfarm post, I will do better.

I am glad I have my apartment - now I am overlooking the lake in the evening - it is quite lovely.
I am glad soo my kid will be back in our home.
I am thankful for all the carefully chosen things I surrounded myself with, and that give me peace.
and I am happy for my ability to make things - I am busy painting a couple of chests of drawers for my little girl, as a surprise when she will be back, in green and white with little kittens all over... I am happy it is coming out quite nicely.

and I will try not to brood and feel sorry for myself anymore.
