First House-First impressions
This house is often called the House of First impressions. It is the house that your Ascendent, or rising sign is located in. The Sign at the beginning of this house determines how we react to things initially. Also how we present ourselves to the general public. It is the side of you that people who first meet you would describe you as. It tells of your superficial traits, but also of your energy, ambitions, and personal drive.
The 1st house is the house of beginnings, appearance, physical body, personality, and represents the outlook on life and who you truly are.
